Ole Martin Andreassen

Works as a producer at Musikk i Nordland, and is part of the interdisciplinary working group working on the Hospitality Symposium.

Musikk i Nordland is a concert provider, partner and competence institution for organizers in the region – one of the pillars of Nordland's cultural life. Through the vision "big music experiences in small places", we work to make professional music available to audiences throughout the county.

Musikk i Nordland produces new concerts and performances with its professional ensemble, which consists of five permanent musicians, as well as an administration located in Narvik.

During the Hospitality Symposium, Musikk i Nordland delivers the production “Lighthouse - Pharos”.

Lighthouse – Pharos is Ensemble Phos' intercultural musical exploration of the connections between Norwegian and Greek coastal culture. The music was created during an Artist in Residence stay on the island of Sula. With harp, bandoneon and tarhu a distinctive soundscape is created inspired by lighthouses, the sea and shared maritime stories. The production is realized by Musikk i Nordland, which also contributes with its string quartet and lifts the work into a larger sonic space.
